Lions Club
The Bredenbury Lions Club was chartered on April 1st, 1971. We are fortunate to have 3 of the original members still with our Club, They are Lions Keith Thorsness, Joe Markusson and Calvin Thies. Our meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month except July and August at the Lions Den at 7:30 PM. We encourage all members to attend our Zone meetings if possible, usually costs $6-$8 per person. We also expect all members to attend the Distict Governor’s visitation, cost is usually $15-$20 per person.
Dues structure
We pay $60 per member as Club Dues. This money pays our dues to Lions Clubs International in Oakbrook Illinois and to District 5SKN. Each member receives a monthly Lions magazine and monthly Saskatchewan Lions newspaper. The rest of the money goes to operate all the services that we get from International and our District and the many projects that they are responsible for.
