Bredenbury Rink:
Thankyou to Bridgeview with help from resident Garry Campbell donated a brand-new ramp to cover our brine pipes. Last spring when removing ice from our rink the old ramp failed causing the skid steer to fall on the brine pipes, the repair of the brine pipes was covered by insurance policy however the creation of a new ramp was not. Bridgeview offered to build and install a new ramp at a value of over $5000 to help our rink. Thank you!

The rink will open on October 5. This year we have a new online booking site called vagaro; you should be able to search the site and find Bredenbury Rink to book your ice time. If you can not find it reach out to the town office for a direct link.

This year rates have changed to $200 per hour with discounted rates for local teams or bookings. A day tournament will be $1000. A private rental will be $160 for use of one hour of ice time and use of the lobby (some conditions apply).

Public skating will be run by volunteers this year. All children must wear a helmet. There will be a sign in and out sheet at rink for skaters. Public skating posters will be shared on Facebook, on Rink door and on bulletin board by post office boxes as they are selected. Public skating will be cancelled if an ice rental comes up.

This year there will be a charge for public skating and all fees must be paid at town office by cash, cheque, debit or credit or by e-transfer to bredenbury@sasktel.net and in memo put public skating. The fees will be $150 a year for family, $50 a year for a single, under 5 free, $10 drop in for a single and $25 drop in for a family.

There will be a cash drop off box at rink near sign in sheet, but drop-in fees can also be e-transferred. We have lost some naming sponsor revenue for the rink this year as well as increased operation costs, so Council felt it was time to have a charge for public skating.

If you have a business that would like an advertising board in the rink 4x8 please contact the Town office to get a proof made up. The cost is $200 per year.
