Summer Students/Public Works:
Doesn’t our town look great! Thanks to the hard-working public works department. We want to thank our students for their contributions this summer and wish you a great school year.

Children on our Streets:
Children should be wearing helmets when biking or on scooters. There have been several reports to the Town office about children not paying attention to traffic, traffic signs etc. when biking and driving a scooter. Please note this isn’t a town office complaint but rather an RCMP issue. Please help us keep your children as safe as possible, talk to your children about traffic safety.

School Starts & Bus Pickup:
Just a reminder that school starts September 2. Reminder to children, they must stay at the bus stop at the rink and or the Complex. They should not be chasing cats, etc.

Reminder to residents to be extra cautious in and around the bus stop.

Parents will be contacted by their driver to pick up times. Anna’s pickup time will remain the same. The rink will be re-opened to stay in entrance again once weather cools off again.

Spray Park Bathroom Donation:
Thank you to Naomi Taylor for donating the cute washroom signs on our spray park bathroom. Check her out on Facebook if you need a small sign or house number: Naomi Taylor – Custom Signs.

Bredenbury Busy Bees:
The Bredenbury Busy Bees are looking for more members to join as well as President and Vice President.

Becoming a Busy Bee member can be what you make it. They have a few meetings a year and are open to hosting more events if there are enough members to help. The facility is a great place to rent for your events as well. To rent the busy bees call Donna Kitzul at 306-621-8467.

Office Hours:
The office is open Monday to Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Closed over lunch. Office is closed at other periods of time for meetings, helping public works, helping daycare, banking, etc.

Just a reminder if there is an emergency call our emergency phone line at 306-217-TOWN.

Bredenbury Community Daycare:
We are still looking for donations or our annual online auction happening in October. If you would like to donate new items they can be dropped off at the daycare or at the town office. The proceeds of the auction help us cover our everyday expenses as well as provide the children with educational resources.

Thank you to everyone in the community that donated fresh garden produce to the daycare, it will go to great use!

Huge thank you to the Churchbridge Credit Union for the ice cream treats and popsicles, the kids enjoyed their sweet treats on a nice sunny day.

With Harvest beginning right around the corner we want to take a minute to acknowledge our wonderful crops for kid sponsors. Thank you so much for continuing to help our project year after year. We appreciate all the time and energy and resources it takes to grow a bountiful crop.
