Capital Improvements 2019:
2019 was a busy year for the Town of Bredenbury we seen many capital improvements through the town. We purchased a new zero turn mower.
We contracted out the installation of a block of new sidewalk on Kensington Avenue next to the town office.
We started renovation to the Bredenbury School into a Fire Hall, which included new shingles, purchase of large bay doors and start of electrical work. We hope to have the new fire hall up and running by end of fall if everything goes ok.
With the assistance of Churchbridge credit Union we helped pay for two new ball dugouts at the school grounds ball diamond.
We installed a muffler on the ice plant at the rink, now town residents can barely hear the ice plant running, this was a long overdue project.
Also with help from the Churchbridge Credit Union we have renovated the old Minor Sports room at the rink into a Ref room/Shower facility.
With all of that we managed to put away $50,000 for a rainy day.
