The sidewalk along part of Kensington Avenue has been completed. It is a wonderful addition to our business sector; hopefully budget will allow up to improve sidewalks each year.
Old School & Grounds:
The old school has been shingled. The RM of Saltcoats has graciously agreed to pay for half the cost of the shingling since the building will be utilized as a fire hall in the future.
This fall we still hope to install fire truck doors and start on the electrical.
The dugouts have been started at the ball diamond at the school, please stay out of fenced off areas.
Recently there has been picnic tables that have been stood upright at the school yard by children playing there. This is damaging the tables. Please do not stand picnic tables upright.
Please note that the dog bylaw includes but is not limited to:
You must clean up pet feces on private and town property
Pet must be fenced or tied up, not running at large
Pet must be registered with the town

Dogs that are prohibited must have proper size tie up and collar
Please respect your neighbours and abide by the bylaw. Failure to comply can result in a fine.
Remember to utilize the compost area in the community to get rid of your garden waste. If you need directions please call the office.
If you do not have a truck the town employees can take it out for you for a small charge.
