Public Skating is every Sunday 1-3 p.m. Shinny is every Sunday 3-5 p.m. Public Skating is also on Wednesday’s from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
The ice rentals will continue to be $120 per hour. Our day tournament rate is $500. We still will offer birthday/staff parties at a discounted rate of $100 for up to 3 hours.

The rink will remain open this year until May 31, 2019. We were asked to do so by many teams and a skating club to do so because other rinks that normally stay open are not staying open because of repairs to ice plant. The spring ice rate will be $160 per hour. The spring rate for a tournament will be $750 for the day. This is new territory for the rink, we hope it works out.

Thanks to everyone who came to the Free Movie, it was nice to see so many children out.
It is that time of year to register your pets for 2019. The cost for a cat is $5 and a dog is $10. You receive a tag that you can put on the collar which will help your pet find his or her way home.
The Rec Board Formation meeting was postponed because there were too many individuals that were busy. The new date for the meting will be on Tuesday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bredenbury Hall. Watch for posters.
Family Gym Membership:
You asked for it, so now the Town of Bredenbury will offer a Family Gym membership of $50 a month. Individual gym memberships still available for $30 a month or $275 for the year.
The next Church Beef Luncheon is on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. $15. Take out available. Call Louise at 306-898-2034. Everyone welcome.
Busy Bees Health Clinic:
Busy Bees will be hosting monthly Heath Clinic on Wednesday, March 6 from 1-3. Everyone Welcome.
World Day of Prayer:
World Day of Prayer is on Friday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m. The World Day of Prayer amplifies the voices of woman, their experiences and their concerns. This year the host country is Slovenia. The program was written by women in Slovenia, one of the smallest countries in Europe. The “theme” Come – Everything is Ready!” After the service a DVD will be shown about the country and coffee will be serviced. Everyone welcome.
Church Services this month in Bredenbury are March 10 and March 17 at 9:30 a.m.
Assessments & Taxes:
Assessments have been mailed to those that were either on the maintenance list (building permit), recall list (last year not completed) or were re-assessed by SAMA based on MLS Listings or sales (change of ownerships). Very few properties were reassessed this year and there was very few with changes. The last day to appeal is March 11, if you have questions call the office at 306-898-2055.
The Council of Town of Bredenbury has recently completed their 2019 budget. It was decided that the Residential Mill rate would be raised $50 per property, which will create approximately $10,000 more revenue for the year. Raising the base taxes affects all home owners equally. The new base tax for residential properties will be $950.
Commercial base rates will remain at $1000 and the Mill rate for everyone will continue to be 4.5 mills.
The taxes will be mailed out mid to end of March for 2019.
Bredenbury Lions Chocolate Bunnies:
The Bredenbury Lions will be selling their chocolate bunnies on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 starting at 6:30 p.m. $5 each. Thanks for your support.
