Bredenbury Arena: There is lots of news with regards to the Bredenbury Arena.

Bredenbury has been selected to host the Zone 4 Sask. First tryouts for boys and girls for the Saskatchewan Winter Games. The tryouts will be December 1-3 in Bredenbury. We can expect 50-80 kids aged 14/15 trying out for the team. Volunteers will be needed to work the kitchen during this weekend. This is a great opportunity to bring extra people into our community and show off our amazing rink.

The Tundra team will be hosting their fall camp September 30 at the arena all day. Some of the players of the team have been selected. You can preregister on their website for the camp, but also you can walk up the day of the tryouts. The game schedule will be released in October. There are season passes available at the town office for the entire Tundra season. The cost for a season pass to all the games is $40 adult, $30 student, $20 senior.

Thanks to amazing volunteers putting in the ice; it will be ready to go by September 30, 2017 for the Tundra Camp. The ice will again be scheduled through the town office or www.schedulicity.com . All of previous main renters have already booked and committed to their practice ice time with us for the season.

Cougars once again will be having a team this year in the Triangle leage. Their schedule will also be released in October. We look forward to cheering them on again this year. As always volunteers will be needed for the kitchen for all games. If you are able to volunteer for a kitchen shift please email
Bredenbury@sasktel.net or call the office at 306-898-2055 and leave your name and phone number.

This year the town has hired Christina Walker to be the Kitchen Manager; Christina comes to us with many years of experience in restaurant/bar management. We are happy to have her.

Christina will be reaching out to volunteers to help her with kitchen shifts, and making burgers.

Never worked a shift before? Christina will be at all the games, camps, tournaments etc. working the kitchen and assisting newcomers. Christina will do all the cleaning of the kitchen, ordering supplies, general maintenance, and cash box/petty cash. Please welcome Christina to our team.

We hope that we all have a fun, safe and financially productive year at the arena.
