Spray Park:

The spray park is on its final stages. Concrete will be poured next week. The spray features will be installed week of September 21. The water and waste water has been installed. We will do a test this fall yet, but it won’t be open until spring 2016; watch for details.  The pavement will be replaced in the street next year if it is compacted enough.

Golf Course:

The golf course underground power will be completed by Sask. Power September 10, 2015. The forms for the concrete pad and plumbing rough in will be completed week of September 14, 2015.

Lagoon Dykes:

We continue to work on the dykes at the lagoon and hope to have it all completed by the end of September, 2015.

Cement:

We are still waiting for cement contractor to come back and finish the drainage grates at the end of Third Street. We hope this is completed before end of September.

Rink:

In the near future the Rink Board will be holding a meeting. Executives and Board Members are needed and elections will be held. If you want to help the rink remain open and operate smoothly please attend the meeting and volunteer your time.

Gym:

The equipment has arrived for the gym. There are some electrical items that we need to complete prior to opening up. We hope if all goes well, we will be able to open beginning of October.

We will host an open house and membership sign up date once it is ready. Watch for posters and facebook updates.

Special thanks to Churchbridge Credit Union and the Bredenbury Lions Club for their donations towards the gym.

The membership will be $30 per month or $275 per year for 2015. Why not purchase a year membership and save $85.

Once the gym is operational we would love to hear suggestions on items that you would like to see added; noting that the space is limited in size and height.

Cemetery:

There is a new sign out at the cemetery that will hold our new cemetery map. We have been working on a map for several years and it is now complete.

The map has the names of those that are in our cemetery in alphabetical order and shows the plot location on a GPS coordinated map. We tried our best to include everyone and get all the names spelt correctly. The map will be updated yearly or every second year.

Joe Andrew has built the sign to house the map and it is located in between the two large flower pots at the cemetery.

Summer Students:

The Summer Students have ended their term with the Town. Special thanks to Branden Gurbacs and Colby Jacobs for their hard work this summer and their help to make the town look great!
